Directions in Holland
Oh, plus - For getting directions anywhere in Holland, this web site works just like "Mapquest" or "Yahoo". It's in Dutch but it's easy to figure out. Just type in the address:http://www.locatienet.nl/

Cheap Flights Within Europe
If you want to visit several major cities, look at Easyjet.com. If you plan in advance and don't mind flying early in the day, you will not find cheaper transportation in Europe. They are somewhat limited in where they fly to/from, but they are a bargain!

travel for kids website
A useful resource if you are travelling with children (in addition to the book "take your kids to europe", is the website www.travelforkids.com. They have information on quite a few countries major cities as well as other areas. The site also suggests children's books as pretrip reading. Well worth a visit! maybe even if you aren't travelling with children.

Ireland
I feel lucky to have stumbled upon the website and the message boards at www.irelandyes.com. I was helped tremendously by the wonderful advice about Ireland. I would not have had half as great a trip if it were not for Michelle and her book.

Spain Info
Hi from NYC,
We did a private tapas cooking class & meal in English with charming Rosa Ferrer and then 3 day private guided van trip to explore medieval white villages, castles, olive oil mills & exotic Cordoba(underated by Rick) led by, American Dan O'Beirne. We found Rosa & Dan in Rick's book at www.magicalspain.com & there is also some good basic Spanish food, wine & language pages on this web that may be helpful to review before a Spain trip at http://www.magicalspain.com/about/index.htm
We later heard about thew new Picasso Museum in Malaca but didn't have time for it...maybe in 2006 after we learn some more Spanish!

Spanish Language Schools
Hello travellers,
I found a great page to learn Spanish at Spanish language schools in Spain: http://www.Spanish4students.com
It appears to be very objective and concise information about the Spanish language schools in Spain and Latin America, and they even offer discounts for everyone who wants to learn Spanish abroad.
Hope that helps some people!
Cheers,

England/Ireland Accomodations
I found www.lastminute.com had the best accomodation and car rental prices for the larger cities in Ireland and England.
Ryan Air had the best prices on flights between the two countries and especially on flights from London to European cities. Ryan Air also has cheap car rental rates but www.lastminute.com outdid them.

Driving in Europe
The best site I have found for leasing is www.eurotourbycar.com. They do Peugeots. Renault has their sites as well.
Whatever you do, go by car. You are so much freer and you'll see so much more of Europe that way. The guy started the idea that it's hard to drive in Europe has never been out of Milwaukee!

Driving Directions
Before my Europe trip last summer driving a car, I mapped out routes using
www.viamichelin.com. This site gives you specific directions and alternate
routes if you wish, as well as lodging and restaurants along the way. They
turned out to be accuate and extremely useful in finding my way.
