Shows On DVD I'm Missing
I've been watching Rick's PBS shows for years and have many of these dvds, but it seems I may be missing some of the "Rick Steves' Europe" shows. I'll tell you what I have. The "All 43 shows:2000-2005", "European Christmas", "11 New Shows: 2007" and I just ordered "12 New Shows: 2009". There are also four other episodes on the 43 show set, being 3 travel skills shows and a making of episode. Not sure if the "Rick Steves Tour Experience" bonus dvd counts as an episode. Don't remember this being on TV. There is also available, a new dvd set (available on this website), which contains all 82 episodes. It seems sometime after 2005 to now I'm missing some. Probably it's just one series since if I count all this up I have 67 shows. Could someone tell me which ones I'm missing and where I may be able to obtain these without buying the 82 show box set, since I have everything through 2005. Thanks.

IPTV
I so enjoy your travelog on IPTV however, I am only able to see about 50% of the programs because of all the lines and fuzzy on the programs. I do Tivo the programs so I can watch them at my leasure. Such a disappointment when I only get fuzzies. Thanks,

Comradery
Rick, I have been watching your travel shows for as long as they have been on public television. I delight when I find a new episode, because I know it will be as informative as it is entertaining. Today I came accross an episode that was about producing the show. It contained the procees by which your team creates the best travel show around. I was especially impressed by the way your team works together, each respecting the opinions and creative experience of the other. I believe this episode would be an exceptional training tool for businesses in general(might be a new niche' for you). I am focused on this because in my office, we have been experiencing difficulty with our team dialogue. Is this episode available for purchase, I would like to share it with my team and eventually reach the level of comradery that your team enjoys. I hope to hear back from you Rick.

Iceland - it's in Europe too!
I'd love to see a show on Iceland. It's a part of Europe, too, and is increasingly popular as a destination for American travelers. I really would love to go there and would love to see a show that puts Rick's unique spin on the sights of Iceland. From the capital city of Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon, geysers and other geothermal features, to horse trekking into the interior, there's certainly a show's worth of fascinating sights to explore. Hope you'll consider Iceland for a show on one of your upcoming series!

Much Maligned Marmalade
Last night I enjoyed once again Rick in Seville and Andelucia, Spain. But finally must protest, Rick, your repeated insistance on slandering (in print too) the superlative British marmalade made from Seville Oranges - which as you state is impossible to miss in "British B&B's". Perhaps you do not know that it is eagerly sought by French, Scandinavians, and many other fans around the world. I accept you may have a sweeter tooth, Rick (most Americans do) and that your palate is as yet undeveloped in this regard, but this is a rare display of insularity from one from whom we have come to expect landmark cultural sensitivity. Goodness, when I consider some of the local specialties you've gamely swallowed without comment (bulls testicles?!!) In the meantime, I'm looking forward to local culinary treats you've selected for me in my next tour with you to Turkey this fall.

hotel reccomendation
Rick, My husband and I just came back from a twelve day stay in Italy. We used your book like a bible. It was so informative, every morning before we set out for the day we looked at your book first to guide us in the right direction. We went to Venice, Florence, The Tuscan Countryside and Rome. We loved them all but the best was the Tuscan Countryside. I have a reccomendation for a place for you to stay, which my husband and I thought was the most beautiful place we had ever been to. On the border of Cortona and Umbria there is the beautiful Villa di Piazzano. I highly reccomend you stay there and hopefully add it to your reccomendations for places to stay.

North Wales, Thanksgiving
I just watched the North Wales show, and was perplexed when it was said that the miners (back in the day) only got 3 holidays per year. Christmas, Good Friday, and Thanksgiving. I assume that Thanksgiving is not the holiday we celebrate in the US and Canada, but the show didn't clarify. Google didn't help much either. Do you know what the deal is?

Bulgaria?
I think Rick should visit Bulgaria again. I am an American in Chicago, and I have never been to Europe at all, much less Bulgaria. I did marry a Bulgarian woman however, and I am curious about how the country has changed since communism retreated and since being accepted into the EU. How has the country dealt with switching to the Euro? Has European tourism increased since then? What about American tourism? Is it a fine but more affordable ski/snowboard alternative than Switzerland and Italy? I have no idea, but I do know they have mountains. I just wonder if they've been put to tourist use or not. I hear also that the Black Sea resorts in Varna and other beacg cities have seen a good amount of investment recently. How nice is it there, and how affordable?

What about its relationship with Turkey, Greece, Romania, and Macedonia? Are all neighboring countries friendly or are there some political or historical differences?

Florence,Italy and Anzio Beach
My husband,Melvin, loves to watch Rick on PBS channel 34(wosu) every Monday and (now)Friday nights and Saturday afternoon. He loves the Italian shows because his oldest brother was buried over in Florence American Cemetry and Memorial in Florence,Italy. Next time you go there to Florence, look up Clarence Edward Rogers' cross for Melvin and his sister Flo.Please,Rick? It would mean so much to them. Plus my dad was in Anzio Beach, yet dad came home alive. Both Melvin's brother (nick name) Eddie and my dad were under the command of General Mark Clark. Thank you so much for your shows on the PBS station. they're geography and history lessons in one.

Well done!
Every morning as I enjoy a cup of coffee, I tune into Rick Steve's Europe on HDNet TV. He has a great narrative and his shows are always filled with interesting tidbits about culture, architecture, history, and food. What a lovely way to start the day. Kudos to Rick for creating such a well balanced show!

Unfortunate and sad analogy used by Mr. Steves
I recently watched the "Germany's Romantic Rhine and Rothenburg" episode and was enjoying it greatly when I thought I heard Mr. Steves compare a castle on a hill to a "dead pit bull". My husband and I replayed it several times, in shock, to confirm that this phrase was used. Your online script confirms it. As an active animal shelter volunteer and the owner of a pit bull who is as gentle as a lamb, I am very disappointed that the editors found use of this phrase this acceptable. These dogs have enough trouble getting past the bad reputation set for them by some irresponsible humans (Michael Vick among others). Let's not blame the breed for what their owner(s) have turned them into, and not perpetuate an inaccurate stereotype. 'All' pit bulls aren't killers any more than 'all' labs are friendly. I expect more from a show of this quality. Thank you.

Dream Job!
Wow! I Love watching the entire production - from the information you give to the great video. How could I get out of working in the doldrums of TV news, and become involved in what you guys create? Wife and I spent time in France and Italy in 2007. You've really made us want to visit Germany next!

Union Jack
Watching the shows on Northern Ireland and on London, I noticed Mr. Steves referring to the Union Flag as the Union Jack. It is only the Union Jack at sea. "Jack" is a nautical term, and while I'm certain it is an innocent mistake, I cringe everytime I hear it.

Rick Steves Spain
I wanted to say Rick I just bought your DVD of the best of Europe and I watched the episode on Seville, and Portugal with my Mother who has demencia. She had traveled to Spain many times and loved it. Your show helped her to remember the places she visited with my Father. Thank you so much. What a great show. great job. Hope I travel to Spain some day.

It's a travel show
Hi Rick -

Your TV productions are great to watch until you plunge into political history. In your recent appearance in Warsaw you, apparently inadvertently, opened a "can of worms" by saying that in 1944 Red Army "waited and did nothing." For the travel show it's quite a departure from your best destinations, travel tips, and railpasses. I expect your travel further east will be recorded in a form of political circus instead of European destinations.

Just met you at the LA travel expo. Thanks for the informative speech and for signing my book. Love your show
I just have to say that I absolutely love your show! For Christmas my mom bought me your entire collection of shows and I love every episode. I started watching when I went to Europe for the first time, but I continued to watch because I was so interested in all the new places that you went to and sights you took me too. After watching your shows I now have 15 more places I want to visit! So thank you!

Europe - Italy
Rick, I especially love your episodes on Italy. If I could only travel to one country outside the US, it would be Italy. Since I will most likely never be able to travel to Europe (one of my dreams), I lose myself in your travels and enjoy watching your programs. I am going to order the 70 episode dvd's so I can enjoy them over and over. Thank you for taking me to places I may never be able to see, without you.

thank you rick
dear rick, i've been watching your show for the past 12 years on pbs and i just wanted to let you know that your work is very much appreciated. through the good times as well as the bad, i've always been able to "escape" every saturday afternoon for an hour of your show. i served in the marines overseas in okinawa, japan and was able to experience different cultures first hand. on the other hand, i've never been to europe and i'm looking forward to that day. my fiance, katarina, is from croatia and presently her mother is visiting us in the states. it's truly a cultural experience even though i don't know her language and she knows little english. in the past ten years i've totally lost all interest in major tv and only have basic cable. public tv probably consumes 95% of my limited tv time. again, thank you rick for the richness of your work as well as helping me through some "tough" times with your programs. you seem to be a very christain oriented person and i truly admire that. god bless, andy seltz, emergency rn winona, mn.

12/1/2007 KQED-TV pledge drive
During the pledge break following the final Rick Steve's Europe program of the evening, Rick was in the middle of making some very strong statements against U.S. actions in the United Nations when my TV screen went dark for 20-30 seconds and then returned to Rick, who was presenting quieter material by that time. I couldn't help thinking, was I watching censorship in action? An odd coincidence.

Glaciers ... global warming ...
As someone who is very grateful to Rick Steves for his fascinating programs and his commitment to public broadcasting, when I saw the program on the French/Swiss Alps I was disappointed that with all the discussion of the Alpine glaciers there was no mention of the concerns about their diminuition due to global warming ... this was all the more surprising when later in the program Rick addressed the political issue of the necessity for government subsidies to protect the Swiss farmers ... it seems to me that "savvy travelers" can be important witnesses to changes in the global environment ... and it would be helpful if Rick were to address them ... even though it might make us all question what impact we ourselves are having with all our air travel ...

I actually saw Rick!
I am a travel fanatic, and Rick has made my addiction even worse (in a good way!) I absolutely love watching his shows, so much that I bought the entire series on DVD (also because my local PBS station airs his shows at 5AM!) I had the privilege of taking a bus tour (with another company) back in 2001, and read ETBD from cover to cover. It helped out tremendously! I covered 7 countries in 2 weeks, and also stumbled across Rick making a show in Italy. I was in Verona, Italy with my group, looking at Juliet's balcony. We exited and went to a little courtyard. I looked over, and lo and behold, there was Rick sitting in a chair! I never expected to see him at all! What a nice surprise! My dad actually talked to him.....very nice guy! Too bad his offices are not here in St Louis.......Rick I would LOVE to work with you! Thanks for all you do!

Rothenburg Shopping
Thanks to Rick, I ended up buying all my souvenirs at the Friese-shop in Rothenburg and saved a lot of money! Even though I did not mention Rick Steves right away, I was treated nicely. Later, I met with the owner and her son. They shared Rick's letters and pictures with me. I also got a discount on all my merchandise plus a great map and a toy. I felt like family. Thank you Rick. Btw, I loved Rothenburg!

Alsace
I was very disappointed in the recent program on Alsace. The program was inaccurate focusing on Reims, which is in Champagne-Ardenne, and Verdun which is located in Lorraine. No mention was made of the city of Strasbourg, with its spectacular cathedral, which is the focal point of Alsace.

Show DVDs
This is for fans of Rick's orignal TV series "Travels in Europe". I love the new shows but it brought back memories of the original series and the travel spell it cast over me. I was hoping that these were avaiable in a DVD collection but an email from ETBD informed me that all they sell is a DVD of 16 of the original episodes. Well, I was at my library the other day and found a set of DVDs called "Best of Travels in Europe". Yes, these are many of the originals in fact it was only missing 20 of the early episode but 10 of those are on the "Classics" DVD. So almost a complete collection. BTW, those early shows compared to the new ones proved one thing to me, Travel Keeps You Young! Our Mr. Steves hasn' aged a day since that first show back in 1991.

Thanks Rick
About 3 days before leaving for Paris, I turned on Channel 9 and Rick Steves was on talking about Paris, of all places. One section was about the Saint Suplice cathedral and its famous pipe organ.

We arrived in Paris on Saturday morning and then attended mass at 10 AM on Sunday at Saint Suplice. After mass, there was a 30 minute "concert" performed on the organ. I never knew a pipe organ could sound like what I heard! It was beautiful. After the concert, people lined up to the left of the back door near a smaller door just as Rick had described. We got in line also and were permitted to go up and see the organ and organists. The concert had been performed by a woman from Denmark. She said playing this organ was a once in a lifetime experience.

We stayed on until Dan Roth played the organ in the 11:00 mass. My daughter was permitted to film him as he played.

What an experience. One of the highlights of our trip. And we would have missed it if not for the Rick Steves show!

finding the connection from central turkey to ireland
just watched your central turkey show on local last nite episode 113C and didnt cath the melica drawing in the sand and her explanation of the cross symbol so looked it up just now and find the script in archieves telling me the meaning of the symbols she was making and this being the maltese cross. this a.m reading a book on high crosses in ireland and the late high cross at kilferora has this symbol carved in the west face.these crosses were made around 900 to 1000 just the dates of mohameds inspired religion now islam, this is interesting as some suspect some of the near eastern languages bere words cogniasant with irish gaelic. like ankara in irish would be an cara the friend malta to could be in irish to be customs like the tax mal being a exise the knights of malta -tax to be. well I enjoyed also your discription of the west of eireann and hope tocamp out there in year but so far not much info on the provincial camgrounds i know there are some but can i get there on the bus. keep broadcasting judiann

Rick, I just wanted to thank you for all that you do. Not only do you help the American people travel and experience Europe, but you teach us to do it in a way that shows the world that the American people are not bad, but are actually open minded, friendly people. England 2007
Steve, My wife and I had a great tour of London, Bath, Windsor and Stonehenge. Had your 2007 England guide book with us and it was very helpful. I was wondering if anyone who has been to London experienced constant eye irritants out there? I was constantly geting things in my eyes and was wondering if it was due to the particulates in the Diesel engines which they use out there. This was only a minor issue. Sun on the Moon Tavern was excellent as outlined in the book.

Shopping in Italy
After memorizing and walking around with Rick’s wonderful books on Florence and Rome I found myself much more educated about scams to avoid, stores to stay away from and even places that weren’t tourist traps to eat. A major recommendation that I would make to anyone going to Italy in the near future and is looking to do some shopping, specifically leather in Florence (Firenze). Here are some tips from an Italian leather dealer.

1. Don’t buy leather from the touristy areas. You get much better quality and educated about the product by going to a well established store or dealer. 2. Avoid buying from younger people (under 50 years) selling leather unless their parents or grand parents own the store. I was even at a shop were the owners were pouring beer and giving it away to entice people to buy their cheap products. Florence is full of leather, be careful true quality leather from Italy is still rescannable pricey. I highly recommend Anna Leather on the old side of Florence 6 blocks after the old bridge. I was told from Anna that true Italians don’t need to pour beer to sell their products. Also a good quality leather coat is around $400 or more Euros. There are stores that sell leather coats for $150 but don’t be surprised if the zipper gets stuck after you leave the store or the stitches are uneven. Anna’s daughter Barbara told me that a lot of the cheap leather comes from North Africa and of course is not Italian quality. Again if the quality looks cheap and is being haggled for half the original prices beware. Whenever you make a decision make sure to look for a label “Made in Italy or Italia.” No label it could be imported.

Enjoy your shopping and remember it’s OK to smell, touch and look while shopping for leather.

Rick Is Only Human
I was just reading Rick's blog, and he was put down for a spelling error. Some place on the Graffiti Wall, someone pointed out some English words he said wrong on some of his TV shows. Rick Steves is a creative man that has a million dollar business. Many of us don't have that kind of success. He has been writing best selling guide books since 1980. Sure, those are edited, but getting an editor for a blog? I love to see the human side of Rick Steves. It sure makes me feel better that he makes mistakes! LOL! I have much admiration and respect for Rick Steves like most of you here. I look forward to watching more of his shows, and reading more of his books! Keep up the great work Rick! Baden Sweet Baden!
Rick, I've traveled 14 times to Europe with your recommendations for accomodations. One of my all-time favorites is in the tres chic town of Baden-Baden, Germany. I stayed at the Hotel am Markt for 4-nites and had terrific room for 32 Euro, plus a beautiful buffet breakfast! And the town, WOW!, right in the midst of the Black Forest. It's a Jewel! TV shows, books and special
About 8 years ago I was flipping through the channels on my TV and I came across one of your shows. I watched your show and went out and bought your Europe through the Backdoor and took it with me on my trip to Europe. I showed it to my brother who travels with us and he did not seem too impressed with it since it did not have any pictures. He had spent several hundreds of dollars on other books with fancy pictures. He started reading your book on the trip and he fell in love with it. You get down to the nitty gritty and tell us what its all about and how much things cost so it won't be such a shock when you get there. My whole family has all your videos and most of your books. I cannot brag enough on your shows and books to tell other people how awesome they are. Keep up the awesome work. And thanks for telling it like it is. I have traveled to Europe about 12 times and use your books everytime. The Christmas Special was excellent, doesn't get any better than that. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Vienna Hapsburgs used spitoons??
Steve, I used your Europe guidebook when I went to Vienna in 2001, and I loved your show I saw tonight brought back wonderful memories of my short trip. Now I know what I have yet to see. I've got to say that I don't think the Hapsburgs used spitoons on their table--those were individual SALT CELLARS next to the gold dinnerware. In earlier centuries, salt was a valuable commodity that preserved food and flavored it. You'll only see spitoons in American Western movies!

Aberdeen
We did a trip to England and Scotland in September--8 relatives. Took the trains visiting York, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, York, London and more. I would like to suggest you add the Aberdeen area to your books. It's a beautiful, varied and delightful area. Thanks, used your book throughout--except for Aberdeen area.

A Humble Request For The Expansion Of Rick's Travels
I'd really love to see you exploring regions beyond Europe. I'm a huge fan of your series as it stands but now that you're starting to do shows in areas you've previously covered I'd really love to see you share some experiences and history of places like Asia and Central or South America for instance.

Please consider pursuing this, I think it would be fabulous.

Huge Fan, Josh

Episode 407
Rick, My sister and I went to Tuscany last summer and were eagerly waiting your new episode on Tuscany,La Dolce Vita; unfortunately my local PBS station replaced that episode at the last minute with a pledge drive program. This was extremely upsetting because there is apparently no future airing of that episode planned. This occurred at WGBH, Boston. Perhaps if there is a contract with you to air these episodes, WGBH should be held accountable for not airing your complete series. My sister and I will no longer send pledges to WGBH for this reason.

Rick's New Shows
Just wanted to say I just got the 11 new episodes on DVD. I've noticed subtle changes in the production values throughout Rick's shows, all for the better. Most noticible, however, is the choice of music. It keeps getting better. The new shows have music very well-integrated into the program.

Well done, Rick.

Rick, A friend and I recently returned from Italy, Florence and Amalfi. It was amazing how many people that I saw with Rick Steves' book. I caught your show on the Amalfi coast today. What great memories. Keep up the great work.

Dear Rick and your film crew,
So thank you for the programming you've provided over the years. Watching you on the KQED pledge drive, I realized I needed to do something with my pledge to acknowledge how good your work is, and I wanted you to know that. What you had to say about PBS is pretty much the same as what I have to say about it. I wouldn't want to live without it. It's not that I don't watch commercial TV. I do watch it. But when you have a brain and a heart, when you love fine art, good cooking, travel, classical music, opera, well-produced adaptations of acclaimed works of fiction, British sitcoms and dramas, programs that explore science, museums, antiques, and a whole bunch of other things that commercial TV largely ignores, PBS is valuable. Too bad the government keeps cutting what funding it gives to PBS, but we the people can make the difference.

Travel partners with Rick
I've just set my TIVO for your 2006 shows - we've been travel partners with Rick since 1997 and have just returned from Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Vienna, Hallstatt, Vienna & Munich. In each location, you took us to the best hotels, sights & even laundries - and it's great to see a taste of it all either before or after our trips on your shows. Can't wait to see the new shows!

TV Show on Greece
I was so happy to see a show on Greece on my PBS station a couple of weeks ago. It was a long time coming but very enjoyable and showed the true flavour of a holiday in Greece. Bravo!! Do some more and branch out into some of the lesser known islands - they're all beautiful!!

First Year Series
Bring back the first series ('91) to DVD!!! I was stationed at Hahn Air Base in the late '80s and used the Bullay (ad der Mosel) train station to start many of my European adventures. I just happended to turn to PBS one day and caught Rick's show and he was getting on the train at Bullay. I immediately yelled "Hey, that's my train station!" I have been a fan ever since and have even met Rick at a lecture once. I would love to have that first year series on DVD.

Rick's PBS Interview
We have taken three of Rick's tours of Europe. One on our own and two guided. No matter which way you go, you are in for a trip of a lifetime using Rick or his books.

Last evening I saw the PBS interview with Rick. What an artculate and smart man. I usually don't get into these discussion much myself about politics, laws, and how Europeans view our country, but I could not change the channel until the interview was complete. Rick's views on the planet in general and the USA in particular and his insights to our European friends were not only interesting but to me were right on track.

I have met him before and he was always outgoing and kind. Now I have learned much more about him as a person and learned scholar and I appreciate him and what he is doing for the world even more.

Travel DVD
Wanted to say how great Rick's Italy DVD is compared to other DVD's we've watched in preparation for our upcoming trip to Rome and Venice. Not only did it give us a broad overview with historical information, but it held our boys'(aged 6 and 7) interest as well.

Rick's Older Shows
I would greatly like to see Rick's other older shows on DVD (especially the 1993 season), not just the 16 from the 1995 and 1997 seasons that are currently offered. Barcelona, for example, is not covered by any of the new episodes. I know that the 1991 season (the first one) was a bit awkward, but all of Rick's shows, past to present, are worth having.

Rick on Public TV
Dear "Doesn't know English, either!":

Don't hate on Rick because he travels so much that he hears thirty different pronounciations of the same word. Even throughout the US, people pronounce words differently by region. These pronounciations may not be "correct" by Webster's standards, but everyone knows what the person is saying. Grab some understanding before your next trip and try not to allow your high standards of speech affect your openness to various ways that people engage in communication. I do not think that Rick Steves does his television shows to showcase his speaking abilities, I think he does them to communicate how enriching it can be to diversify your life. Think big picture.

Wonderful Christmas show! I watched the Christmas show each time it was on the two PBS stations in Utah. Even taped it and have watched it often after the holidays and will probably watch the show throughout the year. Great ending in Italy and Alps.

Doesn't know English, either!
Has anyone noticed how often Rick Steves mispronounces words. In his recently aired show on Rome he (twice) refers to o-BLISKS. To the rest of us, and to any dictionary, they are obelisks, Egyptian and otherwise. And then there was that famous French king, Francois (correctly pronounced) Premier (as in movie) Or, when he refered to what is a very nice place, the "ILL de la cite." Sounds like a hick in need of someone willing to correct him.

Christmas show
The Christmas show is destined to be a favorite classic! The photography, the editing, the musical choices, the introduction with the Fra Angelicos and narration..all first rate. The emphasis on tradition and family and not on consumerism, i.e., out-spending each other, is a welcome breath of fresh air. Congratulations on a job well done.

Dear Mr. Steves, Yesterday I saw your foray into Alsace on PBS. Those two blaring the Marseillaise give a false impression as does the parroting of French. Did you not wonder why a country that was 98% German-speaking should be suddenly French-speaking ? Alsace Lorraine had its own democratically elected government with wide ranging jurisdiction (wider than a Canadian province!) in its own language before 1918. Did you not wonder why it has now to submit to the Paris dictatorship and an alien language? Not a stone of those buildings you showed speaks French, a language that came into the land at the point of bayonettes. Children who spoke their dialect in and around school where abused up to torture as punishment. That is the French reality in Alsace Lorraine. Yours U.Hertel

Rick was on in Orlando
As I started this thing, I need to say that I got to see Rick this past weekend on cable - channel 7 from Orlando. Two shows. 1:30 and 2:30. Wish they would schedule him earlier in the day due to all that busy Saturday stuff! The travel shows used to be Saturday mornings but now they seem to be later and later. But I am happy that I got to see Rick.

Rick on Wisconsin PBS
When I lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin I loved watching Rick's show on Saturdays. I have been to Europe 11 times and counting and have actually used many of Rick's tips like choosing certain restaurants and hotels in the Paris Rue Cler district. UKRAINE
i would like very much to have you show your program using the UKRAINE. as it really is very affordable and full of wonderful sites that many persons do not see. such as the grand train from kiev to lviv in the west over night and a great hotel the grand hotel right in downtown. and even the bus ride from kiev to dnepetrovzhinzk in the east. the hotel montana right on the dniper river with a great view for 40-80 USD$/night with breakfast and they take credit cards. from there you can drive to the OREL RIVER and swim in the summertime in warm water with currents and sandy bottom river. plenty to see and do in kiev too. as i rent an apartment there in city center 40-65 USD$ / night. and the dniper river cruise 1-3 hours. and many places to eat AT . VERY AFFORDABLE.. perhaps see you with this on TV SOON. i will be returning this mid nov 2005. to experience the winter there. it will be very interesting to see....do svidanija
