Long time, no see! I was just at your talk at The Savvy Traveller bookstore tonight. You're on WTTW right now. I wanted to email you to share the drawing I made while you spoke tonight:
It was drawn in real-time while you spoke. Colored in when I got home. Oh, and I had to double-check the number of stars and points on the stars of the EU flag.
I was the young woman with short black hair, red shirt and overalls in the front.
Thank you for the great talk — I most appreciate your combination of business sense AND strength in principles. That you all know your work and stick to doing it well. Kudos!
I'm one of the rare folks in the audience who haven't been to Europe yet. I'm saving up for a *year* and then hope to travel for a couple years — a self-made sabbatical after running my business for a decade. Some folks can't imagine traveling that long, others who know me better think I'll be gone longer.
