Best and worst sights, experiences and destinations:

Best: Saturday market in Beaune, Burgundy.
Why: This was really fun-everything from food to clothing to antiques was there, and it was full of locals with their market baskets. We bought a variety of inexpensive items for ourselves and for souvenirs and finished up by buying some bread, ham and cheese which we ate on a park bench in front of a carrousel in the center of town. For very little money we ended up having enough left over for a second lunch as we drove out of town 2 days later (we bought fresh bread). We went to Provence after this but our timing wasn't right for any of the markets there so we were really glad to have caught the Beaune market!
