Why: hotel on the recommended list in Barcelona were already booked up so we stayed in the suburbs at aparthotel near a metro stop and were happy. my sons got to watch the soccer match on tv in the room and we were able to leasurely get over our jet lag before we got on board the sip

Why: We were actually very pleased with the size of our stateroom, and all of the activities on the ship. And in Barcelona we stayed at Salles Hotel Cutat del Prat which I thought was a great value. It included transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port as well as a full breakfast for $160/night for 2.
