Loire

The correct phone number for Marc Brédif winery, near Amboise, is 02 47 52 50 07.

Chaumont-sur-Loire has a new telephone number for general information:  02 54 20 99 22.

The public bus running between Amboise and the town of Chenonceaux now makes an additional stop right at its famous château, Chenonceau.

Fortresse Royale de Chinon has new hours: daily May–Aug 9:30–19:00, April and Sept 9:30–18:00, Oct–March 9:30–17:00.

Château du Rivau has new hours: daily April–Sept 10:00–18:00, Oct–mid-Nov 10:00–12:30 & 14:00–18:00, closed mid-Nov–March.

Dordogne

Le Petit Manoir no longer closes in March and Nov.

Travelers taking the bus from Bilbao Airport to San Sebastián can buy a ticket from the driver; for the return trip to the airport, you must purchase a ticket from the Pesa office in San Sebastián at Avenida de Sancho el Sabio 33 (toll tel. 902-101-210, www.pesa.net).

The abbey is now open daily mid–April–mid-Nov 10:00–18:00, until 19:00 July–Aug, mid-Nov–mid-April 10:00–12:00 & 14:00–17:00.

The Parc de Loisirs des Planards, which features a luge ride, has new hours: daily July–Aug 10:00–19:00, May–June and Sept–Oct weekends and some Wed and Thu 14:00–17:30.

The TI has moved to a spot behind the Monoprix store, near City Hall. (It'll stay there until moving to its new home in the Unterlinden Museum in fall 2013.)
