My partner and I just returned from Spain. Very much enjoyed Barcelona, Madrid, and Sitges. It was a bit too early in the season for Sitges, and the beach was very quiet, but the pride flags were definetly out. No issues to report--we were always received very positively.

Great Britain Was Welcoming All Over
My partner of 16 years and I just completed a tour of Great Britain for 2 weeks. We never stayed at any "gay" or "gay friend" designated B&Bs or hotels. Everyone was friendly and we never had a problem staying in 9 different places that we booked as we went along. We rented a car upon arrival and drove through the Cotswold, Stratford Apon Avon, Northern Wales, Liverpool, The Lake District, Hadrian's Wall, York, Cambridge and London. Folks in the pubs were great at pointing out places we should see that weren't in the guide books, too. The fact we were an obvious gay couple never came up!

The Blade hotel was a great central location for our first trip to London. Thank you for the write ups about The Blade. Kevin great for advice about where to go and what to see. We were ther during the recent heavy snow and cold temps. We had a great time.
