2 Weeks in Greece... need help w/suggestions

I've read a lot of posts & Ricks book on Greece, but I'm a lil confused on where to stay. I'll be in Greece early August. I'm in my early 30s n active so looking for some party islands & some relaxing scenic islands. Thank you for your suggestions!

August in general is high season in Greece, Islands will be packed, more difficulty in getting rooms, but lots of activity. For Party, Mykonos and Ios are your best bets. Tinos, Paros, Naxos and other much smaller islands along the same route offer more relaxation.

Joey,

I think the whole Greece is a party place.I've been to Athens and Crete only, but I heard good things about Mikonos. However I went to greece in February, yes almost dead season, but there were a lot of people parting on Crete island (in Heraklion ).
