Interested in Architecture of Greece in 5 days
Am I crazy? I have 5-7 days June 28 - July 4 to spend in Greece. I am an architect and would love to see the fabulous beginnings of civilization in Olympia and perhaps Athens, BUT I do not want to go crazy moving about every day. I also want a place I can relax a bit. Any suggestions??? THX, Carrie

If you are an architect, then you should go to Athens. There are a lot of museums there and cool buildings.
For someone interested in architecture, I think Athens would be a good place to visit. Wander the old city center around Plaka and Monastiraqe. Walk up the side of the hill towards the Acropolis and see the houses built ride up the side of the hill and all the stairs and alleys that lead to them. Even the one day, three Island cruise would give you a nice over view of the architecture. There is a one of two day tour to Nafplion (with a Venetian influence) and the archeological sights of Mycanea and Epidavaros. I think you could stay in Athens and take a couple day trips. Have a great time!
