Rothenburg to Reutte

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how to get from Rothenburg (Ob-Der-Tauber),Germany to Reutte in Tirol, Austria.

I have a Global Euorail pass, so ideally, I want to do this by train.

Thanks!

The best timetables for all of Europe are on the German Rail Web site. After you get summary timetables for Rothenburg ob der Tauber to Reutte in Tirol, click on "Details for all" to see the connecting points.

Unless you want to go Füssen and take a bus to Reutte, you will probably go east of Füssen, to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and then take the train from GaP through the Tirol to Reutte. Alternately, you can go the Kempten, then through Pfronten and the Tirol to Reutte. That line, from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Pfronten, is called the Ausserfernbahn, and is operated by German Rail.
