1st Class train travel in spain?

I'll be traveling in Spain in September. Is it worth it to upgrade to first class? Thanks Amy

As Rick says, the train travels the same rate of speed.. first or 2nd class.

The reason to splurge would be for more leg room, and maybe a few ammenties. Its really up to you.
