Cruises in Italy
We are on a cruise that docks in Rome in May. We have to get to the FCO airport to catch a flight the same day. We may dock anytime between 05 and 09 a.m. Does anyone have experience with that trip? How long and the best way?

Assume the ship is actually docking in Civitavecchia since Rome is well inland. The cheapest will be take a train from Civitavetcchia to Termini in Rome and then the train to the airport. The train in Civ is about a mile from the dock area and is walkable. Allow about two hours total. Less than $20 total. Easiest way might be a taxi from Civitavecchia but costly.
