? Rail Ticket Prices?

I would like to find out rail ticket prices between various cities in Italy. Can't seem to find that info on TrenItalia's website. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ticket prices should show on Trenitalia's website, but only for 60 days out. If the "buy" column shows a complete list saying "No," then you're too far ahead. Try a day of the week similar to the one on which you plan to travel within 60 days, and you should get the shopping carts displayed. Click on them, then click on "Choose your rate" to select a fare and see it displayed. "Flexi," "Standard," and "Amica" fares are usually the ones available for the general public. Amica is 20% off if purchased by midnight the day before travel....if still available, as this fare is limited.

Unless memory fails, there are maps in the RS books showing costs of train travel, as a means of comparison btw point tix and passes.

We just returned from Italy in August and used the train between Florence and Siena. It was 8 Euro each way. The train was airconditioned. The trains are so reasonable. We also had a car rental, but the trains are so easy to use and affordable. Cathy
