"self catering" apartment in Berlin

My husband and I will be spending 6 nights in Berlin. Does anyone know of a "self catering" apartment in Berlin in the 60--100 Euros exchange. Thanks so much. Ginny

I've had good luck using Craig's List Berlin. Look under "Vacation Rentals."

Ginny, The Clipper Garden Hotel (http://www.clipper-hotels.de/)is in southern Berlin. Each suite has a completely stocked kitchenette and they will do the dishes when they come through to clean the room. It is in your price range. Free parking if you have a car. Bus to subway is one block away, 20 minutes to center city.

We used www.berlin-beds.com and got a great apt. for only 48 euro a night. Near to the Tiergarten and the Hauptbahnhof. It is an easy website to use, maps, in English, shows availability and if the landlord speaks English.

Another source we've used with success for apartments in France, Italy, and Spain, is www.homelidays.com . You communicate directly with the owners. They have 93 listed in Berlin.

Hi Ginny,

The place we used - Hotel Pension Bregenz - had a really nice looking apartment available. We couldn't book it b/c were not staying long enough and instead went with their hotel. The hotel is top-rated on tripadvisor.

I don't know what was wrong with this earlier today, but it didn't work for me either, but now it does. Maybe they were working on it or something. Try it now.
