10 days in Czech.
My wife and I plan to tour the Czech Republic this fall and are having trouble finding places to see in this period of time. Recommendation please or should we try to go to another country.

Have you done any research. What cities have you thought of visiting?
Hard to make any recommendation without knowing what you like, are interested in, what you have considered, and why nothing seems attractive.
Are you wanting to stay in one place or move around?
I just watched Rick Steve's show on PBS about 1 hour ago and it was all about the places outside of Prague. Check your TV listing and try and view it to get some ideas.
We spent 8 days in Czech Republic. We stayed with my daughter's college friend that is married to a Czech man. The live in Karlstejn which is where Karlstejn Castle is located. That is a very nice village to visit.
Also, don't miss Cesky Krumlov and allow a least 2 full days to visit the area.
You will enjoy the Czech Republic. So much to see and do there.
I agree with JB, dont miss Cesky Krumlov, that was my favorite place in Czech. Of course Prague is awesome and is a must see. You have plenty of time for those places and might even add Austria or Budapest in there also.

I would not give up visiting CR for lack of housing. There are too many places to stay. You don't need advance reservations.
When you arrive in any town find the Tourist Information Office. Their service includes helping tourist find rooms. I have use that service in many European countries.
I recommend Rick Steves book: Prague and the Czech Republic. You will find plenty of ideas there. What I would suggest for 10 days if you go by train: 3 days Prague, 1 day Marianske Lazne (IMHO the most beautiful spa town in C.R.), 1 day Ceske Budejovice, 1 day Cesky Krumlov, 2 days Lednice and Valtice, 2 days Olomouc and back to Prague. Or 1 day in Olomouc and 1 day in Kutna Hora then back to Prague. Easy to do by train in this order. All suggested places are in Rick Steves book with the exception of Marianske Lazne and Ceske Budejovice.
Having trouble finding places to see? I've been there at all times of the year, and there are many things to see and do no matter when you go. Been going every year for the last 10 years and still have not run out of things to do. It's beautiful in the fall there and not as crowded with tourists. What are you using for research & criteria of interests? I agree with Ilja's suggestion of getting Rick's book & site seeing choices. Just an example, I was in Marianske Lasne area last Oct and went to Loket Castle & planning on doing a hike this Sept to the Svatošské skály near Loket and the full on beer spa bath & message experience at Chodovar Brewery spa which is staggering distance from my father-in-law's place in Chodova Plana. Places to go within 44km of Olomouc are Bouzov Castle or Kromeríž Chateau. Another choice to go to is to see all together not too far from Prague is what I call the 3 Ks: Krivoklát, Caves of Koneprusy, & Karlstejn.
Czesky Krumlov is a must see, as are the Palava Hills/ Mikulov (there's also a great Jewish cemetary and museum) in Moravia, Telc, the Budvar factory (don't miss the dining room, where you can sample just about everything they brew there, except the non-pasteurized beer), the iron curtain in Cizov, and Trebon. If you can't get to all these places, at least see Czesky Krumlov and Telc.
