Transportation between CDG and ORY

I need a train/metro/bus/cheap service between Cdg airport and Orly airport. Need to make a connection to Marseille on the same day.

Hi Barb,

There is a great website run by the Parisian airport authority that will let you know, but you need to know which terminal you arrive at in CDG, and which one you depart from at Orly.

Just click here to see the options.

Take the commuter RER Line B train from CDG to Antony Station, then xfer to the very short Orly line. Fare E 8.60.

See metro/RER map at ratp.fr

You can either take the RER train thru Paris to the Antony stop (this is the RER B-4 line), then the driverless Orlyval train to the airport. Cost is, I think, about 14 Euro. See here for a pdf map of the regional train network in and around Paris. Cost, is, I believe, about 14-15 Euro. The other way, prone to traffic jams, but no schlepping luggage around, is the Air France Bus Line 3, which makes a direct run and costs about 19 Euro.

So If I get on at CGD on the blue line where do I switch the the green to get to Orly?

Barb,

On the Metro and RER map the RER B line is blue, but the short link on the Orlyval from the Antony RER station to the airport is yellow. To what green line are you referring?

For the record, the combined fare for the RER and Orlyval is €17.60.

sorry looking at the map incorrectly. How long do you think the trip will take from CDG to ORY?

Depending on which RER you board (some don't make as many stops as others), it's been my experience it''ll take anywhere from 75-100 minutes. If you go to the Paris regional transport site, you can enter your specific dates and times and get an exact timing. Use as your origin "Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV - RER" or "Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 1" (depending on whether you're arriving at Terminal 2, or Terminals 1 or 3), and as your destination, "Aeroport d'Orly Ouest ORLY" or "Aeroport d'Orly Sud ORLY" (again, depending on which Orly terminal you're leaving from, altho they're only about 2 minutes apart.)

The Paris RATP navigator estimates 1 hour and 19 minutes, at 10 a.m. The time could vary a wee bit by the time of day.
