Versailles Hotel
We would like to stay one night in Versailles,can anyone recommend a hotel or B&B? We will be arriving by train. Also, does anyone have experience checking their suitcases (small carry-ons) at the palace?

Hi Lise, we have been to Versailles twice and did not see any facilities where you could check your bag at the palace. Go to www.tripadvisor.com for a good overall review of lodging in Versailles. The palace is a short walk from the train station. I would make sure my room was too. Leave your bag at the B&B or hotel. Even if you arrive before check-in, all innkeepers are willing to let you leave your bag at their desk. You could also e-mail them indicating that you would need to do so.
