Lufthansa headphone jack?

I understand that Lufthansa uses a three-prong headphone jack. Has anyone used their Bose noise-cancelling headphone on Lufthansa without an adapter. I have a two prong adapter but am not sure it will work. Some internet postings suggest they will.

No sense packing the headphones if I can't use them on my 10 hour flight this Saturday.

I don't have an answer for you about Luftansa connections, but I can tell you that I would pack mine even if I knew they wouldn't work for their connection. An MP3 player always comes in handy and noise-reduction silence is very golden.

Hello Eric, A 3 prong headphone jack has Left Audio, Right Audio and Headset Power on the 3 prongs....the Left and Right are standard 1/8th inch diameter (2 conductor)at .50 inch spacing...you can use your Bose 2 prong adapter in the 2 large holes. The power prong is smaller diameter. Lufthansa also has 2 prong headphone jacks with a standard 1/8 inch stereo and the small power. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Unfortunately, with Lufthansa cancelling their Portland - Frankfurt nonstop, I'm not sure who I will be flying next time.

I was able to use my Bose headphone on my Lufthansa flight last May.

If I were king of the world, we would have a lot more standardization of plugs, chargers, tv connections, etc.
