There are a number of reviews around about FeelBarcelona, some of which are not very complimentary. However, we had wonderful service from them when we went in June. We rented the Princesa Charm apartment in the Born district. We called the FeelBarcelona representative from the train station, we were met at the flat at exactly the time they said. Entry procedures were swift. They left an emergency number (which we did not use). At checkout, the representative came to the apartment at exactly the time we had agreed and after a swift check gave us our damage deposit back.
The apartments are in locations where normal people live in Barcelona, so the entrances are not exactly pre-possessing - it's not like staying in a hotel. But our flat couldn't have been more delightful. The streets in the Born and a number of other districts are very narrow and can, I guess, feel a bit threatening but it's the real Barcelona and very atmospheric. I'd recommend it.
A definite NO!!! Loft Amor 2 appartment - bedroom only 4feet high. Sofa bed, downstairs, had a 2inch foam matress and was all ripped. We couldn't use it and one of us had to sleep on floor. Appartment dark, we had to get light bulbs fitted. Pans and kettle were not provided initially. A lot of noise outside the appartment until 4am. Sometimes the air conditioning didn't work.
No way will I ever use Feel Barcelona again or even go back to Spain.
Thanks for sharing about rental accommodations in Barcelona. Would certainly love to visit there and this information is quite handy before packing bags for vacation.
No, But I have heard that they provide good, cheap accommodation in Barcelona. Skiing Holidays
We always use Vrbo and Homelidays when we rent apts in the EU. We found great places in Portugal, France, Italy, etc. using these orgs.
But is "Caveat Emptor" wherever you look. Always pick one that has been in the rental pool for a while, and one that has many good customer reviews.
FeelBarcelona provided good service. We went in December 2009. Everything was just perfect, including location of the apartment. I would really recommend to use them.
yes, we used Feel Barcelona and we liked them very much. We wanted to use their services in Rome too, but they have only in other cities. When we'll be back in Barcelona I won't worry about the accomodation, I'll use them again.

Feel Barcelona were great when I used them. If you are a couple or 3 people on holiday i would recommend FeelBarcelona's SANTA CATARINA 4 apartment. It's positioned in a great, central location, is of a very high standard of comfort, and has everything you will need. I stayed there, loved the area so much i moved to the same area! I often remember the great moments I experienced there...
I guess you have to chose the zone and apartment carefully and you will be ok.
We have used holidayrentals.uk for the past 3 years throughout Europe and and have been very satisfied.The web site is easy to use.This year we rented 5 flats in Spain and Portugal for 5 to 3 days.All well equiped washers micros etc..
I used their apartments during my Barcelona trip and of September.
I found them very professional and strongly customer oriented team. They was very helpful in chcek-in time (gave us some useful tips) even we was a bit late due to plain delay.
They apartment Sagrada Famillia 1 (Padilla 275) when we stay was clean and comfortable. It was 3 bedrooms apartment near to Sagrada Famillia Cathderal and subway station. For us additional benefit of apartment was easy access to shops; in range of 300 meters you can find all necessary shops! Even local market with local cuisine.

Excellent service. I was there for five days, at the end of 2010, staying at an apartment not far from the sea. They were most helpful and professional.
I will definitely go back to them.
