1800-Fly Europe Is it Legit?
I've noticed that 1800FlyEurope.com has the best prices for air fair to Europe. I was wondering if it was legit? Also I plan on traveling to Italy during October for a month. Would it better that I buy the tickets ASAP or should I wait. If I wait when would be be the best time for me to get the tickets?

Hopefully someone who has used it will be able to give you good reviews.
You should always check directly with the airlines before using a consolidator. I found a flight through Expedia on British Airways for $712 plus Expedia fees for a non stop round trip flight from Denver to London. I went to British Airways website directly and found the same flight for $641 including taxes and fees.
I did previously use www.flycheapabroad.com for a trip to London and got a good price.
There is no way to know when the best time to buy is. For October I personally would buy soon so as to focus on other planning between now and October. Sometimes I come out ahead by purchasing 2 months or so ahead and sometimes I don't. Either way I enjoy the vacation. Like Tami I have found that I am getting a better deal going directly to the airlines' web sites. I also recommend that you put a dollar value on your traveling time. I could have saved some money with a ticket from a consolidator that would have taken me from Denver to Frankfurt via Houston but it would have added several hours of travel time. I really enjoyed spending that time at my destination.
I used flyeurope.com for my 3 week trip (round trip in/out of Zurich) this past May. They were completely legit. I actually called up and booked over the phone. They just happened to have the flight I wanted with super cheap seats but I couldn't get that fare directly with the airline. When they booked they provided a confirmation # to look the flight up on their website and the record locator for the Swiss Air website (and we got eticket #'s immediately)...for status or changes I always just checked directly with Swiss Air.
