19 yr old son short stay in amsterdam
we need to find a safe affordable neighborhood but convenient to the sights of Amsterdam. Not a good hostel candidate. Specific hotel/motel suggestions welcomed. Ideas?

What's your price range? Check out either the Avenue Hotel or the Ibis at Centraal Station.
We recently stayed at the Hotel Hestia with our 4 year old and 2 year old. It was in a lovely neighborhood set a little bit back from the main drag, but super close to everything.
