Travel to Casky Krumlov Czech Republic
Any suggestions on the best way to get there from Vienna? I have checked train sites and nothing shows trains going to Casky Krumlov. Is this going to be an all day adventure? Also, are ATM machines common in the Czech Republic train stations? Will they take euros in a pinch
Thanks

I second taking the train to Ceske Budejovice, but would recommend taking a bus from there to Cesky Krumlov (it's "Cesky" not "Ceske" this time). Reason being is that the train station in Cesky Krumlov is kind of inconveniently located--about a 30min walk uphill to the centre of the town--so taking a ~1.5h bus (cost approx. $12 Canadian) to the main bus depot in town places you in a much more convenient location.
We took a taxi from the bus station in Cesky Krumlov to town. Very inexpensive if I recall.

Most places we visited in the CR would take Euros, but the exchange rate wasn't the best. Better to get Koruna from one of the numerous ATM's.
Try shuttlelobo.com. We are using them to travel to Vienna from Cesky Krumlov. Reasonable prices too.
I agree with the previous post on using shuttle Lobo. I used their service 2 weeks ago from Salzburg to Cesky Krumlov. They also have a Pension right by the castle. Shuttles are new and on time. You will enjoy the town.
Was just in Cesky Krumlov last month and stayed at the wonderful Pension Sebastian for 40 Euro a night double with a private bathroom and included breakfast. We also took his shuttle to Vienna which only took 4 hours and saved all that changing trains and time. It cost 60Euro per person and you should know that the train station will not take euros.
