1 flight/day on SAS-Rome-Copenhagen, how reliable--worry about cancel

We are going on a cruise from Copenhagen next Aug (Sat). We are booking Friday flight on SAS from Rome-CPH. There is only 1 flight a day. This flight continues to Paris. Is there any reason we should worry about a cancellation and book the flight for Thurs., instead--we really don't want to do that and miss a day in Rome. I saw some reviews saying SAS cancels flights and was wondering--flights on hold now. Elaine

Flights is about $100 (incl. taxes). There are 6 of us and we can only fly on that Friday from Rome. I thought this was a decent fare for a non-stop--we will have luggage--and SAS allows 20 KG each for free. So, you still think we should wait?

You need to figure the risk. What happens if you were to miss the cruise ship departure? There can always be unavoidable problem related to weather, equipment, etc. We always go in at least one day and generally three to four days early for any cruise. Go to Rome a day earlier and Copenhagen is worth a couple days.
