Hotel Hastal in Prague
This is a Steves listed hotel. We contacted the hotel directly online and made a reservation. We just received a $24 bill on our credit card from Travel Assist. Apparently, is a booking agent eventhough we went directly to the hotel's site. When we gave the credit card for guaranty, this company puts a charge on the card. The charge was not disclosed and not indicated in the Prague book.

Mike, we just returned from Prague where we stayed at Hotel Hastal. We also made a reservation through the booking agency. The charge you are referring to is a deposit which is credited to your bill. There was a very small booking fee (about 3 euros)which was not. I thought the reservation service was very efficient and prompt in replying. We enjoyed our stay at the Hastal.
