Need help with Car Jet rental problem

Has anyone successfully resolved a problem with Car Jet, the UK agency that brokers car rentals? I've rented through them three times -- this time I was overcharged and I cannot get them to respond to my calls and emails. Is there a UK agency I can contact for help? CarJet lists an address in Harlow, UK. (I'm in the U.S.) Thanks.

I find that I rarely get satisfaction using email. I suggest making phone calls. Be sure and document everything carefully. CarJet is based in Spain. Here is the contact info we have here:

CarJet Iberia s.l. B-96844386 Calle del Greco 4 03016 Alicante Telephone 0034 96 515 3500 Fax 0034 96 515 7054

And an office in the UK: CARJET INTERNATIONAL LTD, Merlin House, West Road, Harlow CM20 2BQ (United Kingdom) Tel + 44 1279 770450

Only other contact info I found for CarJet is

http://www.carjet.com/ http://www.carjet.co.uk/ carjet.harlow@carjet.com     Phone: +44 1279 770450

The domain is registered to:

Thank you, Steve. Car Jet directs callers with problems after the sale to use email. I will have to try using an extension for a new sale. I have been trying to deal with the office in Harlow, UK.

If you paid with your credit card, you could dispute the charge. Then they'd have to respond to someone!

I took Steve's advice and called again. I got a person who acknowledged receipt of my email and said they were working on it. Later in the week I had a credit on my credit card. Happy ending but it is puzzling to me that Car Jet doesn't at least acknowledge an email with an email, especially since that is how they ask that customers resolve issues after the sale. That said, I would use them again as I've had generally good experiences and they offer some of the best prices through reputable rental agencies.

Susan - You didn't mention how you paid for the rental BUT, if you happened to use Amex, or any other charge card simply notify them about the problem, tell them you want to contest the charge, and they will reverse it off your card and resolve the issue with the rental company within 30 days.
