We are looking for a Villa or Apartment with 3 BR and 3 Full Baths walking distance to restaurants and shops for $3000 or less per week. Is there a main directory or a recommeneded realtor?

One place to try is vrbo.com, for a large listing of Vacation Rentals by Owner. You will be dealing directly with the owner of the place, not an agency or broker.
We rented a villa on Capri using an on-line company. They will send you a free catalog if you request one, or I believe you can search their listings on-line at www.parkervillas.com
