Best transportation from hotel to Paris airport Orly

Can anyone suggest the best, most efficient way to get from our hotel in the Latin Quarter to the Orly airport very early in the morning? We need to arrive at the airport by 5:30 am.

For two or three people a taxi probably would be best. According to the Aeroports de Paris site, the average fare from central Paris to Orly is around 35 EUR; but the rate will be higher at that time of day so expect to pay more.

First try -- RER B + Orlyval

Latin Quarter is very near the RER B stop at St-Michel Notre Dame. See Parys by Train for a photo guide on how to do it.

BUT, The first train to Orly from Paris via RER B leaves Chatelet Les Halles at 05:23 arriving Orly at 06.08, too late for you?

And the Orlybus may be out for you as well, the first bus arrives at the airport at 05.54.

Unless you can live with arriving around 6:00 am, take a cab or a shared airport shuttle like the one operated by Grey Line.

Good luck!
