Madrid at Christmas

Hello- We will be traveling in Spain for two weeks- 12/12-12/27 and will be departing out of Madrid. Does anyone know if the AVE trains run on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve, and what restaurants might be open for Christmas dinner. We are trying to decide if we'll spend Christmas in Seville or head up to Madrid for Christmas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Renfe has not posted their timetable past 14 December 2009. bahn.de and SBB also do not have schedules after 12 December.

They don's say when schedules will be posted for December.
