hotel familia paris

I've tried making reservations on their website for a stay in June and haven't gotten a response. Then I emailed them and still no response. Hmmm. You would think that with positive recommendations from RS and tripadvisor that Hotel Familia would be more responsive. Has anyone had any similar experiences with this hotel? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Usually when a hotel fails to respond its because they are all full. But in your case, it just may be they aren't getting the emails. Try giving them a call. Tel. 011 33 1 43 54 55 27

I was not aware any hotel accepted reservations that far in advance, especially a small, family-run place like the Familia.

Thanks for the info. Paris is the last city on my list of hotels to book for next summer. Venice, Florence and Rome have been relatively easy, all done via email. I'll give Hotel Familia a call and see if I can get this squared away, particularly since I gave them all of my visa account information, etc. Grazie mille.

we stayed at the Hotel Minerve- Familia's "sister" hotel it was great. You might try them. It was right next door to Familia.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I have the problem solved. Looks like Hotel Familia has two different websites for booking. I had used their official website with no luck. But when I tried the other, which charges a nominal booking fee, I was able to get a confirmation instantly. Many thanks!
