trying to call Chez Agnes in Paris

I have tried to call Chez Agnes to make a reservation and keep getting an answering machine. I asked the hotel to call (gave them the number in rick's book) and he gets the machine too. Someone posted a review on chowhound.com and listed the phone number different than what's in rick's book. anyone know if rick's book is the CORRECT number and how to get in touch with the restaurant?

I would ask the hotel to look in the phone book or get the # from information and call them for you again.

Also, have you tried googling them for a #?

I just googled them and got this # +33 1 48 40 33 04

Is this # different from the one you have?

Within France, the number would include a zero. So the number to ask your hotel to dial would be 01 48 40 33 04.
