Rental in Arles/Avignon Area
I am interested in renting a house/apartment in the Arles/Avignon area in March or April and would appreciate any ideas.

Gitesdefrance.com is an excellent place to find rentals.
We used France Homestyle and were very happy with the whole experience.
We have used VRBO and Homeldays for most of our EU apt rentals.
Our apt in Paris was thru Homelidays.
We also stayed in a Gites De France (B&B) while we were in France this last June. The Gites (Government rated rentals) offer a complete range of options, and will give you a wonderful rural opportunity.
When we stayed in Arles, we styed in a hotel in the main area where there were few cars. We loved staying there because we could walk to a different restaurant each nite.
When we stayed in the rural Gite, we had to drive to dinner, and I almost got in trouble(we were pulled over and "breathalyzed".
We were also very happy with France:Homestyle, but that was years ago, before the internet.
I am glad to know that they are still in business--they had wonderful properties, and gave us great personal service, even though we were on a budget.
