car in switzerland
We are going to be renting a car after visiting Zermatt. Does anyone know a better place to get it other than Brig?

That may depend on where you plan to leave the car. Are you sure you need one?
I agree the train system in Switzerland is THE best in the world. Unless you are traveling to some way out of the places, and there aren't many in Switzerland that trains don't serve, a car is usually unnecessary.
We rented a car from Europcar in 2000 and 2002. Picked up car in Lucerne, but they have many locations. We made all the arrangements here via the internet. Enjoy Switzerland!
