Eating in Luxembourg Garden

Does anyone know if there is a restaurant inside Luxembourg Garden? I'm looking for a simple quiet place to recover from jet lag.

No restaurants, but there are two cafes.

And you're right, it's a great place to go after a long flight, we often do the same. We love it there.

There's a slew of spots on Rue de Medicis, right near the eastern gate, just north of the Lux Gardens metro/rer station. (Across the street from the wrought-iron fence that seems to have art work on in most of the time.)

Great place to eat a sandwich from a nearby take-out deli.

One of our favorite memories from our last visit was a very simple baguette sandwich in that garden. Very shady, lots of Parisians, no stress, and the guys at the stand treated our six year old so well when she was trying to order ice cream. Life is Sweet!
