Renting A Car In Florence & Dropping it off In Rome
Hello,
We will be renting a car in Florence and heading into the Tuscany region for about 5 days. We then were going to drive to Rome and drop off the car.
Can anyone suggest which pick up locations in Florence and which drop off locations in Rome are better than the others? Though we can drive in big cities - I think we'd rather avoid having to go into the "thick" of things, especially Rome, though will have to be able to drop the car off and pick it up via public transportation.

If you can drop off the car in Orvieto or Assisi or anyother small town.Driving into Rome is a nightmare and if you drop at the Airport you still have a 30 minute train ride.best regards jack
