1 1/2 days in Barcelona

We will be in Barcelona in mid November and have 1 1/2 days to see some sights. We will be staying at the Royal Ramblas. We were thinking of trying to see the Barri Gotic, Sagrada Familia and perhaps Montserrat. I have Rick's Spain book with the walking tours from near our hotel. Any thoughts on sights, timeframes and best ways to get there? Thanks. Linda

Montserrat is pretty ambitious with only a day and a half. You can easily spend 5 days and not leave the city. I would recommend staying in Barcelona and save neighboring towns for another visit to the city.

I definitely would not try to go to Motserrat with 1 1/2 days. There is plenty to see in Barcelona.

I agree with the other two posters...more than enough to see and do in Barcelona in your time frame.
