Combo or padlock for the hostel lockers?
The combo lock is pretty slim- maybe easier to cut...
But a padlock has issues as well- the key can get lost or stolen.
What do you use?

We stayed in several hostels during our trip and used the combination lock....did not have any problems. Keys can be lost.
Go for the combo -- one less thing to keep track of. I see no difference in security between a combo or keyed lock of the same size.
