"jueet" travel in lieu of hotels

Hi. Just saw an older show on Burgandy river travel and Rick mentioned a way to rent furnished homes for 1/2 the price of hotels. Not sure of the word so don't know how to pursue for further information. Your kind guidance much appreciated.

"gites" = "holiday cottages"

"chambres d'hotes" = "bed and breakfasts"

There are literally thousands of each in France. If you google the French terms you'll get tons of choices.

The best way to narrow the choices down is to first decide what region of France you want to concentrate on.

The website Mona gave you is excellent.
