Sarajevo to Plitvice National Park
Has anyone made this drive and how were the roads? How much time did it take? Thanks for your help!

We were there at PL on Croatian National Day :-< } last year. Driving from Zagreb to the Park was mountain 2 lane (1 each direction) roads. We did have at least 2 lunatics pass us on curves in the face of oncoming traffic. Oh well, no harm done, somehow. The park itself is NOT TO BE MISSED. From PL down to the highway to Split, the roads were straighter and less mountainous. The roads are fine through Croatia. We did not get to Sarajevo. We really liked Croatia.
It's probably 4 hours or so Sarajevo to PL. It is 5+ from Split to PL. We stayed in a ski lodge near PL, very very charming and quite wonderfully pleasant. The hostess brought us all shots of homemade plum brandy.
Do you remember the name of the ski lodge??
