Bus or other transport mestre to airport
I am staying in mestre outside of Venice and Need to get to the airport for a 6:45 in the morning flight to Amsterdam. The number 15 bus does not seem to start running until about about 7 am and I am having trouble figuring out alternate buses. Need some help from anyone who has stayed in mestre and taken an early flight.

I hate to break it to you, but you're going to have to get a taxi.
That would be one of my pet peeves in Europe- their public transport runs only 7/8 am- 10/11/12 pm... Which doesn't make a huge amount of sense (I'm sure they cut costs, but in the big cities there are plenty of ppl who would take the metro/bus at 3 am or in your case, 5/6 am).. It's weird to think about as the US has public transport 24/7
Yes, it should be in either "To the Boot" or "Transportation", but before spouting incorrect taxi mustings it might have been good to check the facts.
The ATVO from Mestre starts at 5:20.
But if flight leaves at 6:45,, what time does one need to be at airport.
