Went to Ireland to pick up our daughter
We just got back from 2 weeks in Ireland. We stayed in Maynooth for the first 2 nights. We went to Trim Castle and Newgrange.
After Maynooth we went up to Belfast for 2 nights. While in Belfast we did a black cab tour and a tour that included the Giants Causeway.
From Belfast we headed to Galway for 4 nights. I know the logistics of this day of travel weren't the best, but it's what had to be done. We took 2 tours while in Galway. One tour was to the Cliffs of Moher & Burren and the other tour was to Connemara & Cong.
After Galway we headed to Dingle for 2 nights.
We finished up our trip with 4 nights in Dublin.

How long was the tour of Cliffs of Moher? Did you go on your own or with a tour guide? Can you recommend any restraunts in that area and in Dingle? We are going there in July and we cannot wait!
Millicent - We used Galway Tour Company for our tours to Cliffs of Moher & Connemara. They were all day tours. Mac Donnagh had good seafood. The pub we stopped at in Doolin had great seafood chowder & Guinness Beef stew.
In Dingle we ate at alot of pubs. Our favorite treat was Murphy's Ice Cream. Also if you have a car you'll need to do Sleigh Head Drive. The views from there were FANTASTIC.
