Bus travel from Villach, Austria to Bled Slovenia
I have heard that there is a bus that goes from Villach, Austria to Bled, Slovenia but I cannot find the schedule. I know there is a train, but it doesn't go into the city of Bled and I believe the bus does - is that true?

No bus, I'm afraid. The railway station at Lesce-Bled is a short taxi or bus ride away from the town itself, though.
Alternatively you could change trains at Jesenice and take a smaller local train to Bled Jezero. The stop is by the lake, but on the other side of the lake from the town so you would have to take a taxi, unless your accommodation is on that side, too.
Thanks for the quick reply. I had read somewhere there was a bus and it was the same one that would stop at the train station on it's way into Bled town. So, it seemed like a good alternative to taking the train and then the bus to get into Bled town. This is good to have clarified. Thanks again.
