Chartres restaurant

Could anyone suggest a restaurant for a inexpensive dinner (under 20 euros) in Chartres? How about a place to buy picnic supplies?
Thanks

Just walk up and down the main street. Found a great place to buy "picnic food" including wine. Picnic was on the train back to Paris. Sorry, can't remember the name of the place.

Walk south down the big street that runs along the west side of the cathedral. Left side in about two blocks, Triplet/Tripot/Tripod/something close - - good grub in that price range.

Ed, I think you mean Le Tripod. Thanks for the tip.

Probably Tripot, come to think of it, at least that's a word in French - - crummy bar, sleazy gambling joint - - something like that. Being highly refined, it's just not a word in my lexicon.
