Take the good old No 4 train to Gare du Nord, the RER B to CDG.

Be aware that the RER B line divides northeast of Paris. Be sure to get on a train that is going to CDG. The fare from anywhere in central Paris to CDG is €9.25.

How much time do you think we should allow?
Thanks

Hi Nancy,

We just returned from CDG. We had a 1:35 flight. Our ticket indicated that the last check in time for that flight was one hour before. Check your ticket. I believe the recommendation is to be at the airport 3 hours in advance which means an early departure for a 10:00 a.m. flight.

This trip we ended up taking a shuttle van which is pricey but we were traveling with a 78 year old and dragging luggage on the Metro and onto a bus was just too much! About $45 for two people with pick up at our hotel.

The Air France bus leaves from the side of the Gare Montparnasse - a couple trips an hour for CDG. The Roissy bus to CDG leaves from behind the Opera on Rue Scribe - about four trips an hour. Both require a ride on the metro to the bus stop. You'll be on the metro/train during rush hour so be careful with your baggage.

Have a good trip.
