Great Rick Steves' Accommodation Recommendations
Fellow Rick Steves' followers,
We used Rick's recommendations for our recent Slovenia/Croatia trip and all were excellent. Penzion Berc in Bled, Hudicevec Tourist Farm in Razdrto, Base Sobe in Split, Royal Apartments in Korcula and Apartment Raic in Dubrovnik. We also stayed at House Samardcizc, not sure of the spelling and not in Rick Steves' guidebook, outside of Lake Plitvice. It was only a couple of miles to Gate 1 at the park and was very good with light breakfast. Great breakfasts at Berc and the Tourist Farm. If you stay at the Tourist Farm do the full-board because it's a long drive to Postonja the closest town with restaurant choices. No choice on dinner, but soup, meat, potatoes, vegetables and dessert were quite good.
Beautiful sights and more importantly people in both countries.
