Public Tranport Help

How do I get from CDG airport to the St. Paul or Bastille Metro stop in Paris by public transport? We arrive on the morning of December 26?

Thank you.

Debbie you simply take the RER ( suburban train system) Line B and get off at Chatelet Les Halles, The way to the RER is well signed in airport. You then switch to metro line 1 direction St Chateau Vincennes . Look at a metro map, they are easy to find, just google "metro map Paris" . Your one ticket from the airport will take you right to either St Pauls or Bastille( line one stops at both, just choose one closest to your hotel)
Check out this website, it is an absolute godsend when trying to understand the public transport system in Paris, really , look at it.

"paris by train" I just google for it, hopefully someone can post a proper link though.

Also Debbie needs to advised before she arrives that Chatelet Les Halles is the busiest metro station in the world. That's not a deal breaker - just be prepared.

You can avoid the maze at the Chatelet-Les Halles RER station and the Chatelet Metro station by getting off the RER B at Gare du Nord. Take Metro line 5 directly to Bastille. Saint-Paul is one stop west of Bastille on Metro line 1.

Here's a link to the Paris by Train site.
