Has anyone stayed in Montemerano?

This place looks beautiful. Looking to stay for a week in a small town or village in Tuscany, not too rural, but not too urban. Many of the agritorismos and B&B's look like they are so remote. Want a place that feels ancient and authentic, where we can walk to the village for groceries, etc. and use as a home base to explore for a week. Montemerano looks like such a place, but I haven't found a place to rent. Any ideas?

I used to stay in Saturnia when I used to go to that area (long time ago when I lived in Tuscany). I don't know about Montemerano which is nearby, but I found a few places in Montemerano you can check.

If you don't mind to stay a little away from Montemerano, just search for Saturnia or Manciano (Manciano is the Municipality of which Montemerano is a district, or Frazione in Italian). I'm sure you'll find plenty of accommodations in the area.

And when you go there, don't miss to eat acquacotta and also wild boar dishes. That's Maremma: The Tuscan cow-boy land.
