Vancouver-Munich nonstop
Those in the Pacific North-West and in Western Canada might like to see that from 16 May 2013 Lufthansa is starting a nonstop Airbus A330-300 service from YVR to MUC. The East-bound flight is scheduled to take 10:15 hours, the West-bound one 10:35 hours.
Lufthansa suggests "to keep eyes and ears open for our low introductory fares"...

Sounds nice. Though it will likely be a very long flight (12h30 maybe?).

Thanks for posting this. Hopefully this will be a regular flight from now on. Too bad it wasn't available in September, as it would have saved me some time and a layover in Amsterdam. 10H:15M is still a bit of a long flight, but better than a connecting flight.
