Romantic Paris ideas?

My Husband and I will be visiting Paris for the 4th time, and now without the pressure of trying to hit the top touristc Activities, I want to plan a couple of romantic activities in the City of Light. For the Paris experts out there: any suggestions of restaurants, walks, or activities?

We'll be there from nov 29 to Dec 4.

Thanks!!

I'm hoping that James from Germany will post his suggestion; he has remarked on what a romantic date would be like for him, I think someone had asked this question regarding Rome. My 2 cents worth, 1) Dinner cruise on Bateaux Paris, we've done this numerous times, the most disappointing was the one during summer, i prefer it be dark rather then sunlight hours. As far as your dates, it will be dark by then, both of you will be dressed up nicely, etc., recommend you consider the pricier of the three options, a table just for two. Don't worry about getting/receiving flowers, the vendors will be there at the conclusion to give your lady some flowers and then ask you to purchase them. 2)dinner or lunch at The Meurice Hotel; have only done lunch, dinner could be pricey. One night stay at this Hotel? Prior to, or after if during daylight hours could by Angelina's (Chocolate drinks and pastry). Or......somehow tie a few activities together with a night time visit to Sacre Coure, just for the view.......

The wonderful garden behind Notre Dame cathedral (with park benches, etc.) is a good place to have an inpromtu picnic. Just get your provisions at a nearby grocery. Bon Appétit ~ P

I looked into the dinner cruises but since we are both vegetarian they either dont have a vegetarian option or have very bland things for all the money you pay... Same problem with the restaurant at the Montparnasse tower, they have amazing views of paris but no vegetarian meals on their carte.... Too bad!

We have done picnics at the Champ du Mars and at the Place des Vosges, those we quite nice!

Pick a hotel/Condo on the Isle St. Louis and enjoy the beauty of Paris.

Thais great choice. We spent our 25th wedding anniversary in an apartment on the Isle and it was wonderful. Have a great time. So romantic too.

Just about any place in Paris can be romantic if you're in love... :-)

My husband and I swear by nightfall at Trocadero. Grab a seat - or stand, if it's chilly - on the steps and watch the light show on the Eiffel tower. This is a great place for a quick snog, and since you're in Paris you probably won't be alone.

We also think the bar at the Hotel George V (31 Avenue George V) is VERY romantic. It's small and cozy-yet-opulent and the service is impeccable.

Wandering the back streets behind Sacre Cour is also romantic. Check out the Moulin de la Galette - a refreshing and charming change of pace from the bustle and tat of the more famous Moulin Rouge, which is decidedly NOT romantic.

Finally, if you want a romantic meal that won't break the bank, try Au Petit Suisse. It's a neighborhood bistro, very old, not fancy - but if you can wangle a seat up on the balcony, it's very romantic.
