Barcelona in April
My wife and I will be staying in Barcelona for 4 nights in April 2013.
We'd like some guidance and/or advise on lodgings. Not too far off the beaten path, but we're not looking for 200 euro/night places either. Any suggestions?

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Jazz last April and loved it. 133 euros a night for a ice double room. It is a 3-star hotel with modern decor and a rooftop terrace ( and pool). The location, near Place Catalunya, is great. Very easy to arrive from the airport on the Aerobus. We walked everywhere from there ( except to Parc Guell) but there are very good metro and bus connections 2 blocks away at Catalunya. Easy walk into Eizemple for great restaurants and the Gaudi sites. I would happily stay there again.
We liked Hotel Colon which is located across from the cathedral-a perfect location. Were there in early June. The room was quiet and spacious and had a small balcony. I think the room was around 140 euros. Would stay there again.
