Trevi or Campo for Hotel?

Trying to decide where to stay near Trevi or Campo...the two hotels I am thinking of are Hotel Teatro de Pompeo or Hotel Regno...any thoughts?

Campo dei Fiori I presume?

Both areas are nice. Trevi is slightly more central, therefore the area is probably more crowded with tourists. Haven't been to either hotel, therefore I can't comment on those.

Just spent 7 weeks in Italy this fall, and while in Rome stayed near Campo. We walked everywhere and Trevi wasn't far. Piazza Navonna, Vatican, Pantheon, Campo, and hundreds of little alleyways, and streets to explore around that area. We had a little apartment next to Piazza Nuova that worked really well. Direct train from FCO to Termini Stazione then direct bus to apartment.

Haven't stayed in either hotel so can't comment on them.

Good luck.

They are only about 10 minutes from each other so I don't know that either is better than the other. I would pick the hotel that you like the best as both areas are very central and close to the sites.

We stayed in the Hotel Teatro de Pompeo several years ago and it was lovely. It got past our budget limit, so we haven't tried it recently.
